| New Developer |
Jul 17, 2004 11:19 |
Welcome to the Main Dev-Team, SidLuke!
We invited SidLuke to join the Dev-Team because XAD doesn't have time for coding at the moment.
Thank you for the work you have done!
SidLuke is coding the DoD, TFC and TS modules. He is also working on the CSStats module.
Hopefully you will have a great time here! |

| Function Reference |
Jun 24, 2004 01:37 |
As part of the 0.20 Documentation Project, I have released an official AMX Mod X Function Reference!
You can view it at http://www.amxmodx.org/funcwiki.php
This function reference is set up like PHP.net's. Users can add their own comments and post examples of various functions. People on the documentation project have higher level permissions for editing things, but anyone is free to anonymously post.
Also note the ability for user comments is a big feature that will hopefully help people scripting, as anyone can post examples, experiences, findings, et cetera. It is NOT a forum. People who post tripe, garbage, useless information, and one word responses that are meaningless, will be banned.
Thanks to EKS for helping me add some of the 400 functions to this! NS2AMXx isn't posted yet as I haven't decided what's going into it for the final release. |

| Valve fix for lag |
Jun 23, 2004 20:49 |
I just got this in a e-mail:
We have identified the cause of the lag and have created a fix for it.
Updated game dlls will be released via Steam next week.
In the meantime we have a hotfix available, the updated game dlls can be downloaded from:
http://www.steampowered.com/drop/06232004_cstrike_gamedlls.zip
Unzip this file into the cstrike/dlls directory.
The md5 sums of the updated game dlls are:
10f2dcdbacc50e9fe198fa05b85e5ca8 mp.dll
1c4d3d4d073be72829e8d81dce59a4c7 cs_amd64.so
6a57b0d1817cfc659059694e6e281d33 cs_i386.so
- Alfred
You can go and check it out to make sure.
Might want to put this on the front news for other to see right off.
Hope it helps |

| Update to Cstrike Module |
Jun 21, 2004 01:01 |
JGHG recently posted about Steam breaking a few natives in the cstrike module. He fixed the bugs and passed the code to me to compile, so here are the binaries.
Please report any problems. Only use this if you are using the latest steam update. People reverting to the old dll (a bad idea) should not use this.
(Note: the version shown in amxx version will still be 0.16)
If you are seeing this from the main site, please click here to see the downloads. |

| Latest Steam update |
Jun 17, 2004 12:52 |
It has happened!
Since the recent Steam update earlier this week, a few natives in the cstrike module don't work anymore. Any plugins using these natives will not work as expected.
They are: cs_get_user_deaths, cs_set_user_bpammo and cs_get_user_bpammo.
This is a problem that we have expected to arise at some point with some Steam updates, but that never happened until now.
The fix for this is very easy but still has to be done. We will bring you a new set of cstrike builds for Windows and Linux shortly - watch this space. This problem obviously shouldn't affect WON servers. |
